About the charity/role

As part of a collaborative team you will manage a portfolio of national and international prospects – allowing for an interesting blend of supporting significant existing funders while developing new business opportunities. This is a varied role at an exciting time for the organisation, as they launch their new strategy – allowing for further development of a well-established, existing trusts programme.

The team are looking for an ambitious fundraiser who is keen to develop their skills further, with structured support from experienced senior members of the team who are keen to support professional development opportunities.

As Trusts Manager you will:
  • Develop and manage a personal portfolio of trusts and foundations (domestic and global) while further establishing new opportunities;
  • Have the opportunity to engage and input on significant funder relationships including the likes of Sport England and National Lottery Community Fund;
  • Grow existing relationships into multi-year strategic partnerships/repeat donations, focused on long term support.
The role would best suit:
  • An individual with some experience of Trusts/Foundations/Institutional fundraising, keen to specialise and broaden their expertise across a diverse portfolio;
  • A fantastic relationship manager with proven expertise of stewarding existing donors/securing new funders at four- and five-figure level;
  • An excellent communicator with strong written skills who is able to work with a variety of audiences (internally and externally) and tailor communications accordingly.
