About the organisation/role
We are looking for two new Trusts and Statutory experts to join this team and help them towards their ambitious growth targets.
As there are two roles available, we are open on these roles being mixed portfolios or having one more weighted towards trusts, and one more weighted towards statutory.
Currently, the team generates £1.3m, £1m of which is from from trusts/foundations.
The trusts and foundations portfolio is well-developed, although there is room for growth, particularly in new business, re-engaging lapsed donors, and packaging up more creative propositions and cases for support.
The institutional and statutory portfolio is less developed and will benefit from building lottery and central government relationships.
Job description
Key responsibilities:
- New business within given portfolio, including re-engaging lapsed donors and prospecting brand new funders for the organisation
- Line management of a Senior Officer
- Account management and stewardship of existing grants alongside the services teams
- Creative development of new products, cases for support and propositions
Person specification
- Existing trusts and/or statutory experience and keen to take this to a growing team
- Keen to develop management skills (you don’t have to have line managed previously)
- Creative, relationship-focused and proactive
