Cruse Bereavement Care is a fantastic organisation offering counselling services around the UK to those who have been bereaved. They are in a rapid expansion of fundraising, led by a new Head of Fundraising, who has identified the first port of call is to hire a Trusts Manager to oversee a new national programme.

Fundraising at Cruse has been very successful, considering they have only just started setting up their national team! So far, community, direct marketing and trusts activity has taken place through volunteers and programme workers at the service hubs across the UK.

The Trusts Manager will oversee the existing local trusts activity (which brings in around £300k currently), providing strategic and senior insight into their approaches, and anything additional that could be done.

The main aim of the role will be to reignite old large relationships and to pursue new opportunities for national funding. This is targeted to bring in an additional £375k.

We are happy to consider a range of candidates. Possibly someone taking a sideways step from another management role who wants to work with more flexibility, or a senior officer/executive who wants to step up and take more responsibility. We can also look at a four-day week.
