Appointed Senior New Partnerships Manager

Teach First

Teach First is a leading education charity that believes our society is failing too many children from disadvantaged backgrounds. These children don’t start with the same chances and the inequality continues throughout childhood, a situation compounded by the pandemic and cost of living crisis. To address this, the charity is on a mission to transform education with great teachers, inspiring leaders and powerful networks.

The charity has placed over 16,000 teachers in low-income areas, improving the life chances and choices of over two million pupils. Research shows that teachers trained via Teach First are much more likely to move into senior leadership positions, and earlier in their careers, compared to similar teachers trained via other routes.

In addition to developing teachers and leaders, the charity believe that pupils facing the biggest barriers to success need champions, across all of society, so they have developed over 90 nationwide networks that include networks for teachers, senior leaders and headteachers, and for ambassadors (those who have completed one of their programmes) working in government and business.

Teach First have a fascinating corporate programme. With strategic partnerships as their bread and butter, this is a great place to develop exciting, impactful partnerships across a range of sectors.

The corporate partnerships team secures £4m annually for the organisation, as well as numerous strategic benefits (skills-based projects with their partners, for example).
