Human Rights | London | £33,000 to £40,000
This incredible international human rights organisation is looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to run corporate fundraising. A new position in the team, the postholder will be responsible for developing a fledgling programme from the leads and opportunity they currently have, as well as being proactive and securing cold business.
The charity has a fantastic corporate product: they work as consultants delivering training and education to global companies and their supply chains. This is monetised at the moment, bringing in around £100k pa with relatively little proactive work, although further corporate partnerships with these companies have not yet been explored.
There is a big opportunity to both grow this work and develop further strategic partnerships with the companies. The role will be both account management of existing companies, as well as new business for more philanthropic partnerships.
We are looking for someone ideally with corporate partnerships experience, who is happy to take on a role which will be varied and changing as time goes on. Initially it will include more new business, and then over time you will manage more accounts. You will be able to approach cold prospects, and see deals through contract stage to account management. You should be ambitious and keen to develop in your career, as over time you will take on a bigger team as the remit grows.
This role could suit either an experienced manager looking to work in an international charity or to take on a start-up role, or a senior officer who is keen to take on their first management position.
