Appointed Senior Partnerships Development Manager

Action Against Hunger

Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation that is building a world where no one dies from hunger. Life-threatening hunger is predictable, preventable and treatable, so a world without it is possible.

The charity tackle hunger by:

  • Training parents and healthcare workers to spot the first signs of malnutrition
  • Delivering life-saving care to people who need it
  • Leading research to drive forward understanding of how to predict, prevent and treat life-threatening hunger

In 2021, Action Against Hunger UK launched an ambitious new 5-year fundraising and communications strategy, of which corporate funding is a crucial part.

The Senior Partnerships Development Manager will lead the small new business team to grow the portfolio of strategic high-value partnerships. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, you will lead on evolving and implementing the new business strategy and together with the Partnership Development Officer, you will focus on winning transformational partnerships.

AAH’s corporate team is known for its strength within the food and hospitality industry – see here. Recently they have also been diversifying into new key sectors, work which the new SPDM will continue to develop.
