About the charity/role

This charity is six months into a pilot project that is exploring the potential of linking local groups closer to the work that the organisation does on a national level. So far the achievements of the project have been remarkable, and the charity now needs someone to join the team and help to grow this potential even further.

Job specification
  • Co-develop and implement a plan working across Lancashire and Cumbria linking local support with the charities overarching aim
  • Manage, develop and encourage buy in from local groups
  • Manage conflicts and development towards transparent communication
  • Coordinate monthly meetings and information sharing regarding process and procedures, encouraging a best practice approach
  • Develop and report back on milestones and objectives of the project
Person specification

To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • have extensive experience working in community/regional fundraising or consultancy
  • be a strong project manager, able to think strategically and to plan, develop and evaluate operational activities
  • have confidence in presenting and facilitating training sessions for multiple stakeholders
  • have strong knowledge and understanding of the charity sector and fundraising trends
  • be an excellent communicator and influencer with great problem solving skills
  • be organised, able to manage multiple priorities and produce quality results
  • have experience managing budgets and confidence to reforecast and report back on this
  • have a flexible approach to working. The role is home based but with an expectation to be out and about across the area. A driving license and access to a car are essential.
