With a strong existing base of committed supporters there is ample opportunity to establish personal major giving relationships and achieve success.

Job description

Acting as the philanthropy specialist for the organisation you will establish networks and further relationships with major donor prospects/supporters who have the capacity to give five- and six-figure donations or open up alternative avenues for support, such as sponsorship of special events.

You’ll work closely with senior colleagues and stakeholders, leading the operational aspects of the philanthropy strategy and playing a key role with the team to further collaborative working opportunities.

Person specification

The role would best suit:

  • An experienced relationships-focused fundraiser (from any high value income stream/relevant commercial expertise)
  • An individual with a passion for establishing and deepening donor relationships, ensuring long term commitment and support
  • Someone who is comfortable and confident at working with senior stakeholders (internally and externally)
