About the organisation/role

We are supporting an international disaster charity in their search for a Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager. Their current appeals include the Pakistan floods, projects in Turkey and Syria, and Ukraine.

This role is responsible for leading a team of four in managing and developing fundraising with corporate partners, major donors and trusts in line with the charities vision, mission, and strategy.

Working alongside the Director of Fundraising, the primary purpose of the role is to develop new corporate fundraising relationships while managing and overseeing the existing corporate, trust and major donor relationships.

Job description

  • Lead on the development of high-quality presentations to engage new corporates support
  • Develop and deliver donor engagement plans that seek to achieve six and seven figure income
  • Support and guide two account managers and an officer, in the task of growing both new and existing support
  • Work in a close-knit and collaborative team to improve and update processes for future appeal launches

Person specification

  • Significant experience of corporate fundraising or the cultivation of high-value donors
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with donors and partners
  • A track record of securing large donations from corporates, individuals or trusts
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative approach
  • Passion and drive to work in the humanitarian sector
