About the charity

This well-known UK-wide youth charity is looking for an account manager to join their team of five working on corporate partnerships.

The wider team includes two working on trusts, three in individual giving and one in major donors. The team is close-knit, friendly and team-focused.

The team may reshuffle when this new person joins, but it’s likely that your portfolio will include a range of commercial and fundraising partnerships, all with a strategic element. The portfolio includes 5- and 6-figure partners.

This role would suit
  • Someone who is keen to pick up an established, successful portfolio of partnerships;
  • Someone who has strong relationship management skills and is keen to develop deep professional relationships with a mixture of partners;
  • Someone who loves working as part of a team, and who would enjoy getting involved in other areas (eg new business and trusts fundraising) if your colleagues need you;
  • Someone who has experience of sponsorship and/or COTY partnerships but is keen to develop their strategic fundraising skills and knowledge.
