Overview

Natasha’s Foundation’s vision is to prevent and end allergic disease; it is also their mission to bring about positive change by focusing on law and policies, medical research and educating and raising allergy awareness. We want to ensure the needs of allergy sufferers are met in a meaningful way and to offer a real hope that will change the lives of all those living with this life threatening disease.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to raise money for research in an important and underfunded area. This research will have a significant impact not only on allergy prevention, but also on quality of life and health economics benefits, around which cases for support can be shaped. There is no direct competition for funding in this space.

Fundraising activity will initially focus on a pioneering immunotherapy project: a £2.2m three year partnership with five universities, launching later this year. This is a strong ask that can be used by the fundraising team straight away. There will be additional projects and grant opportunities in research and other areas for the team to take to funders.

This established charity has generated impressive, high profile fundraising results. In line with the Foundation’s growth plans, they are now building on this success by investing in the recruitment of a dedicated fundraising team.

They are in a unique position in that their core costs are covered, so 100% of future income can be dedicated to the research. The CEO and Founders are highly engaged in fundraising and will be a great resource when it comes to opening doors at a high level.
