About the charity/role

This small team have achieved incredible success in the past couple of years, heightened over the past year due to the circumstances of the pandemic. They are now looking to consolidate some of the incredible work and support they’ve been able to secure by recruiting an additional Major Donor Manager to the team who can help ensure long-term support and first-class stewardship of new and existing donors.

This is a great opportunity for a major donor fundraiser ready for that next step in their career who wants to think creatively about how they can engage with HNWIs to access new opportunities for support and inspire long term commitments.

Given the recent success of the team the priorities are to focus on stewardship, processes and supporter journeys to ensure that all the building blocks currently in place are aligned to continue this trajectory. The team work closely with Patrons and Ambassadors to increase network opportunities and are also in the process of establishing a new giving club which this role will support the development of.

Job description

The role would best suit:

  • A candidate with experience of major donor fundraising, keen to work in a creative manner across a broad portfolio of existing donors;
  • A fundraiser with personal experience of making 5-figure+ asks from individuals;
  • Someone who is passionate about fundraising and doing things differently – this team are keen to find new ways of inspiring HNWIs to commit to long term support;
  • An individual who is process driven, interested in working creatively but ensuring that underpinning systems support continued fundraising success.

Please get in touch for further details – first stage interviews will be held in early June.
