  • New focus on proactively driving the historically reactive programme, increasing annual legacy notifications and pledges
  • This new, permanent role will build on recent consultancy and creative agency work to develop a legacy proposition

Job description

  • Leads the marketing, shaping and development of the legacy programme
  • Will initially establish a testing plan to recruit pledgers, set up a stewardship plan, and review the in-memory giving strategy
  • Works closely with colleagues across fundraising to integrate the legacy programme and develop donor pathways
  • Responsibilities will grow alongside the programme – an excellent opportunity for career development

Person specification

  • Experienced legacy marketer, either within a legacy programme or a wider individual giving/direct marketing programme
  • Proactive, collaborative self-starter who builds excellent internal relationships
  • Digital-first mindset (all donor recruitment and stewardship at the charity is digital)
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and a legacy programme based on solid foundations and case for support
