About the organisation/role
We are working with a birds science charity, harnessing the skills and passion of birdwatchers to advance scientific understanding and produce impartial science. Their staff and volunteers are motivated and skilled, making a difference by contributing to the delivery of impactful science for birds.
This role presents an excellent opportunity to work alongside the head of income generation in developing regular giving projects as well as creating and implementing strategies for individual giving programmes. The successful candidate will work with a supportive and knowledgeable team, leveraging their direct mail experience to achieve ambitious goals.
Job description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive individual giving fundraising strategy to increase revenue with an income target of £300k.
- Implement direct marketing campaigns to acquire and retain individual donors.
- Build strong relationships with individual donors, ensuring excellent stewardship and ongoing engagement.
- Work collaboratively with science colleagues to develop compelling and accurate fundraising communications.
Person specification
- Experience in developing, delivering, and analysing direct marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to use data effectively.
- Knowledge and experience of digital and email marketing.
