About the charity/role
This is a new role for the directorate, focused on high value income streams and long term future growth for the charity.
Organisationally they are growing and investing in fundraising. It’s an exciting time to join a team and play a key role in shaping future strategy and long term goals. The role will form part of a newly established Fundraising Leadership Team.
The role manages a team of 15 (four direct reports) who collectively raise c.£5m. Future plans are focused on growth, with head room in all income streams to achieve this.
As such they need a skilled and credible leader with expertise of at least two of the following income streams: major donors, corporate partnerships, trusts & foundations, and government funding (statutory and institutional).
This is the largest department within fundraising with some exceptional talent already in place. They are looking for a strategic leader who can help bring these teams together under one function and bridge siloes to support greater collaboration and identification of new opportunities.
The role would best suit:
- An experienced high value fundraiser with personal expertise/significant crossover of at least two high value income streams;
- A credible leader with expertise of managing teams 10+ across multi disciplines;
- A big picture thinker who can strategise to achieve growth and spot further funding opportunities across income streams, enabling the team to increase support;
- A creative and inspiring team leader who can focus the team on taking a proactive approach to fundraising and bring new ideas to the table.
The deadline for applications is 26 July (CV and cover letter), please don’t hesitate to get in touch for further details.
