Job description
You will be Responsible for innovation across the income generation department.
Managing a team of up to 5, you will ensure high organisational profile and successful innovation project management.
Key areas of innovation the role facilitates:
- Identify and project plan innovation opportunities to grow specific income streams by 10%.
- Plans are then handed over for implementation by a member of the innovation team to manage
- Assess new income opportunities then develop a testing strategy to prove viability
- Keep up to date with sector trends and assess whether adoption of new fundraising activities would be successful for the charity
Person specification
- Would suit a current head of an innovation department at a smaller charity or a senior manager looking to take a step up
- Must have excellent project management ability. Qualifications in Prince or Agile would be of benefit, or demonstrable good practice
- Flexible management style, able to identify an individual’s motivations and play to these
- Strong understanding of business analytics
- Excel at developing stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
