Trekstock provides cancer support to a largely unsupported demographic. Young adults in their 20s and 30s, who find themselves not covered by youth cancer charities, but feel too young to be put on a ward with elderly patients.
Trekstock delivers exercise programmes, digital projects and nationwide meetups to help get young adults moving again after cancer puts their lives on hold.
Fundraising at Trekstock so far has been developed by the CEO using personal networks and connections of the board. The organisation is innovative and entrepreneurial, which has allowed bespoke, creative ideas and partnerships to be created.
