A leading charity in the sector. This is an important and critical role for fundraising, providing behind the scenes support across a number of functions.

Job description
  • Fundraising operations has developed into an integral, standalone department reporting to the Director of Fundraising
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and management of Supporter Care, Data Insight/Database, Fundraising Compliance, Gift Aid and High-Value Fundraising Innovation
  • Drive these non-income generation functions forward, ensuring high quality, efficient support to the fundraising department
  • Work with colleagues outside of fundraising including Central Compliance, Finance and IT
  • Direct line management of three managers and an indirect team of a further five staff
  • Contribute to new fundraising strategy
  • Help create new supporter journeys across fundraising, leading on working groups
Person specification
  • Experience of managing at least two of the functions listed above
  • Senior manager or head-level applicants will be considered
  • Able to lead on strategic direction for the separate functions, creating a cohesive department
  • Coaching style of management, enabling success via teams
  • Collaborative approach to working in a wider fundraising team
