Appointed Head of Fundraising – Individuals

Cycling UK

Cycling UK is a charity that aims to enable millions more people to cycle, regardless of their background or ability. They believe that cycling can create a cleaner, happier and healthier world, where air pollution, obesity and traffic congestion are reduced.

Cycling UK have been championing the cause of cycling for more than 140 years, promoting all forms of cycling, protecting the interests of cyclists, and inspiring people to discover the joys of cycling. Whilst a heritage membership organisation, Cycling UK has had charitable status for 10 years.

As they embark on an ambitious 5-year strategy, individual giving has been identified as an integral part of their activities – as such, this role has been revamped to drive income from new and existing supporters. Key to this will be development of a fledgling individual giving and legacy programme. Investment will be available to support strategic growth plans.

There is significant scope to make your own mark on fundraising, raising income to enable Cycling UK to support cyclists across the country. Leading a team of two, you will manage with clear objectives ensuring the team are developing along with the growth income.
