Appointed Head of Development

The ClementJames Centre

For over 40 years, The ClementJames Centre has been offering local people in North Kensington the skills, knowledge, opportunities and support they need to achieve their potential. Things have developed a lot in that time – from a straightforward homework club to a well-established community support charity, transforming the lives of close to 3,000 people each year.

The ClementJames Centre is a well-known community charity, offering a welcoming space within the borough of North Kensington. Whilst some of their support is appointment-based, the Centre has a reputation for being a place anyone can go to access the support and services they need.

To continue delivering existing services and increase support to the local community, the charity needs to grow and diversify its fundraising. It’s current annual income of c.£1.6m per year is weighted to trusts and foundations and statutory sources, and there are significant opportunities to be explored with corporate partnerships and individuals, including major donors. We’re therefore seeking an experienced fundraising professional with broad income stream expertise, keen to lead a committed and developing team to achieve long-term growth and diversification.
