The work of the fundraising team is essential in enabling Depaul UK to support young people experiencing homelessness. The charity is at an exciting stage in the development of its fundraising portfolio and are planning for significant growth within their Corporate and Regional income streams over the next 3 years – from £400k in 2023 to £1m in 2026.

The Head of Corporate & Regional Engagement is a new role for the charity – last year was a successful fundraising year and extra capacity is needed at a senior level within the high value fundraising team. The role will be responsible for income from corporate partnerships and regional engagement, with the regional team having a focus on regional corporate income. The post holder will be a key member of Depaul’s Leadership Group and report to the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships within the Fundraising and Communications Directorate. Developing new corporate income will be a specific focus of the role, so this is an ideal role for someone who excels in bringing in new business.

About the role

As Head of Corporate & Regional Engagement, you will:

  • Have strategic responsibility for corporate and regional engagement income, delivering a plan for growth – current income is £400k and ambition to grow to £650k in 2024
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 direct reports
  • Have full budget responsibility
  • Develop relationships with senior corporate partners and lead on best practice for the wider team to develop own relationship
  • Work with the Head of Philanthropy and Trusts to create tailored stewardship across high value income
