Head of Corporate Partnerships

£57,000 to £62,000

About the organisation/role

Suicide rates are still shockingly high in the UK. Around 7,000 people a year take their own lives, the biggest killer of young adults nationwide.

As the nation tries to recover from two years of pandemic while battling the cost of living crisis, amid public health pressure and long waiting lists the need for Samaritans’ services has never been greater.

As such the organisation has just released its new strategy, with ambitious growth targets for doubling fundraising income over five years.

QuarterFive is delighted to be recruiting a Head of Corporate Partnerships who will lead a successful team to help them achieve their aims.

Managing a team of seven, the Head of Corporate Partnerships will lead the delivery of a £3.2m+ income target across a range of products including charity of the year, CRM/brand partnerships and strategic partnerships.

A forward-facing role, the Head of Corporate Partnerships will keep their hand in the operational aspects of the largest prospects and partners, leading by example on new business development in particular.

There are exciting developments coming up in the team, including a new five-year strategy and a desire to work on more shared-values partnerships.

Job description

  • Continue to develop products in COTY, brand and strategic offerings

  • Experience in setting up large commercial and strategic partnerships within a large or complex organisation
  • Thrives on new business and forward-facing activity

Samaritans is a fantastic place to work, and this team is particularly close-knit and sociable. They are a flexible employer and we welcome applications from candidates looking for a 4-day week, compressed hours, or who are part of a job share.

There is no stipulation on how much the candidate needs to be in the office (there are two – one in London and one in Ewell, Surrey), but a willingness to be able to meet partners and have an anchor day with the team is important.
