Mind | London | Competitive salary
Mind has seen astronomical success recently, with the overall fundraising division growing from 60 to 160 in the last three years. Corporate partnerships is now a £4.1m team of 17, with new business continually coming in and more growth likely.
The current Head of Corporate is going on maternity leave in June, so the charity needs someone to cover for 12 months.
There are three direct reports: Head of New Business who leads a team of five, Head of Account Management who leads a team of 11, and a two-person team that focuses on account development.
The Head of Corporate will spend most of their time aiding new business, which will include being present for big pitches, meetings and renewals. There is also a need for leading internal projects and liaising with other team heads for integrated strategic partnerships that are won. For example, a new seven-figure partnership may need an entirely new corporate partnerships team if it is won. The Head of Corporate would set this up, keep a handle on the partnership from a senior stakeholder point of view across the organisation, and oversee the service design for a new programme.
The Head of Corporate will be a busy, multi-faceted job, running a successful and high-profile team while also ensuring the team strives for better and more. The charity practices what it preaches and the environment is warm and supportive. We are looking for someone with not only the big strategic partnerships experience, but also a management style that reflects Mind’s values.
