Job specification
- Lead on the community and events strategy, defining objectives and KPIs accordingly
- Create budgets, oversee delivery and look for growth opportunities
- Manage a direct team of three and wider team of 13 through supportive leadership
- Work operationally to develop a plan with SMART objectives, financial and non-financial
- Create a culture of being open to innovation and aware of charity trends and competitors, in order to develop new products and initiatives
- Work cross-departmentally to review processes and procedures to ensure best practice
Person specification
To succeed in this role you will need:
- a successful track record in growing income from community and challenge event fundraising
- experience implementing and delivering a strategy
- significant experience managing budgets
- experience managing a high performing team
- strong stakeholder management experience
- creativity or innovation in your approach
