Education charity | London | £35,000 to £39,000
About the charity/role
We are proud to be working with this incredible charity that works in schools to inspire young people to think big about the world and their possibilities in it. The charity’s work builds critical thinking, communication skills, confidence and essential knowledge of current affairs. What’s more, the charity was named by Escape the City as one of the top 100 organisations to work for.
The organisation has all the appeal of working for a young, up and coming charity, with the support and backing of a huge national company. They are looking for a Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to continue the already impressive growth since launching in 2014. This includes their new work with schools internationally, as they look to grow from £300k to £400k+ in the next year.
The right candidate will enable them to significantly grow their impact on young people. You will be working with a small, passionate team and will have the opportunity to shape the future of the organisation, progressing as the charity grows.
This is a multifaceted role, focusing on building new partnerships from companies, donors and trusts/foundations (50%), as well as building relationships and developing existing partnerships (30%).
There is an incredible opportunity to work with the Chief Executive on the overall fundraising strategy (15%), as well as being an ambassador, securing opportunities for the Foundation to be represented at events and in influential conversations relevant to their work (5%).
The role would suit an experienced, dynamic fundraiser who has experience working across multiple income streams. We are looking for an excellent communicator, with a track record of identifying & securing five-figure partnerships/donations and of forging long-lasting relationships with a variety of supporters.
