Trusts, Foundations & Government Manager
Responsible for developing new opportunities with family trusts/foundations, corporate foundations and statutory funders.
The Design Museum is looking for three exceptional fundraisers who can further existing partnerships while developing new opportunities.
The Design Museum reopened its doors in a newly-refurbished home in Kensington in 2016. Six years and nearly 2.2 million visitors later, we are seeking three exceptional fundraisers to develop existing relationships and identify new funding opportunities with corporate, trust and foundation and institutional supporters.
These are key positions in a Development Team that is underpinned by a bold strategy designed to increase income in 2022. The challenge ahead is to secure the funding that will be critical to sustaining the museum as it continues to deliver its most ambitious plans to date.
The Head of Corporate Development and Corporate Development Manager will engage with an impressive, broad corporate portfolio including Netflix, Swarovski, Deutsche Bank and Snap Inc.
Partnerships include exhibition sponsorship, access to private events space, co-creation of private exhibitions and events and funding partnerships that support learning programmes.
The opportunities are many and varied, so we’re looking for experienced relationship developers who think creatively about developing mutually beneficial partnerships.
The Trusts, Foundations & Government Manager will help the philanthropy team further existing relationships and proactively develop new funding opportunities. You’ll act as the main point of contact for some of the Design Museum’s biggest funders, including Arts Council England.
We are looking for someone familiar with the trusts and government funding space, who will bring awareness of where opportunities may lie.
As the team’s senior trust and government fundraiser, you will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy to develop a robust strategy and have significant autonomy to craft the portfolio.
Responsible for developing new opportunities with family trusts/foundations, corporate foundations and statutory funders.
