This charity’s corporate team is doing well and is expanding their team to recruit for this new Corporate Account Manager.
This is partly because of previous success (they’ve grown in income by £1m this year) and partly because their pipeline is so strong they don’t have enough resource to follow up all the leads!
It works for them to have mixed roles in the team, so everyone, including this new role, will be responsible for both AM and NB.
This role will take on a couple of smaller accounts, focus on new business to start with, and then manage the accounts they win. These are likely to be six-figure or higher.
We are looking for someone with experience of either account management or new business, and can consider candidates from the commercial sector.
Crucial is the ability to pitch, present, influence and negotiate. We are looking for proactivity, enthusiasm to get out and about, and the ability to think creatively about partnerships and how to win them. This won’t be a typical COTY-style role, so commercial acumen is important.
