Social welfare charity | London | £38,000 to £42,000
This role will be key in driving forward the brand new corporate fundraising strategy of this age-related social welfare charity.
The team is relatively new, and is part of a big investment in fundraising to enable a more sustainable future for the charity. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing some smaller, light-touch accounts which are new to the charity, as well as driving more new business.
Because of the nature of the charity, the partnerships will be strategic or commercial, and unlikely to be COTY. For the past year the team has been working on cases for support and proposition development, as well as pipeline development, so there is a lot ready to go for when this new person comes into post. A self-starter and proactive business development professional will have a wealth of opportunity and be able to shape the role and programme how they see fit.
We are happy to look at candidates who would grow with the charity. Perhaps you have experience from a local charity, or with smaller accounts only, and are looking for a larger national brand. Or perhaps you are taking more of a sideways step but are passionate about the cause and keen to be a part of the growth of an income stream.
Essential criteria
- Resilient and tenacious personality
- Proactive, ambitious, enthusiastic new business fundraiser
- Experience in winning new business, and ideally ability/experience in managing accounts
