About the organisation/role

We are partnered with a children and young people disability charity that offers a range of services including emotional support and practical advice for families, opportunities for children and young people to build confidence and skills through activities, and a specialist further education college.

The Corporate and Partnerships Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing new corporate partnerships and managing existing relationships. Reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Director, the manager will work closely with the Director of Philanthropy and support an Corporate and Community Fundraising Executive. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate fundraising, relationship management, and the ability to generate new business opportunities.

You will play a vital role in expanding the organisation’s corporate partnerships and contributing to its mission. The manager will have the opportunity to work in a new and unique centre at London Bridge, collaborate with experienced professionals, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of blind children across England and Wales.

Job description

  • Develop new business and identify new prospects for corporate partnerships at five and six figure level or relevant private sector commercial experience.
  • Proven track record in identifying, developing and managing corporate partnerships.
  • Write compelling proposals and presentations to secure new partnerships.
  • Support and guide the Corporate and Community Fundraising Executive.

Person specification

  • Proven experience in corporate fundraising, securing five-figure partnerships, or relevant private sector commercial experience.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and managing corporate partnerships.
  • Interest in managing a team or experience mentoring and supporting in a previous role.
  • Business-focused mindset with knowledge of key business sectors in England and Wales and an understanding of motivations for corporate charity support and partnerships.
