About the charity/role

With a new fundraising strategy on the way, this is a fantastic opportunity to drive the development and implementation of the charity’s strategy for events and community fundraising, leading on the current events portfolio (challenge and special) and identifying areas for growth.

You will lead the community partnerships programme and have ownership of individual community fundraisers. Working in a team of 6, you will have responsibility for the line management of a Community Partnerships Officer who manages the day to day tasks associated with our community groups programme including, but not limited to, Rotary Clubs, WI, Students and Schools.

Person specification

You will be an energetic, enthusiastic and proactive person, willing to be hands on and, have a proven track record in events and community fundraising.  The right candidate will be innovative, creative and a superb relationship builder. Good communication skills are a prerequisite for this role.

This role would suit a candidate looking for the next step in their career and to take significant responsibility for their income stream in a small and supportive organisation.
